The problem

Most Shopify SEO in Lebanon is either invisible or wasted.

We audit Shopify stores every month that have been paying “SEO retainers” for two years with nothing to show for it. The pattern is always the same: a monthly blog post, a keyword report with no commercial mapping, no structured data past what Shopify ships by default, no attention paid to the catalogue, and no view of what non-brand traffic is actually doing to revenue.

Meanwhile the store's real SEO problems — thin collection templates, JS-rendered content Google can't index reliably, duplicate URLs from filters, missing product schema, no hreflang across the Arabic and French versions — sit there for another quarter.

Shopify SEO for a Lebanese brand has to earn revenue in three languages, across multiple currencies, from four or five different countries at once. That's a systems problem, not a content-calendar problem.

What you get

Deliverables

  • Technical audit

Crawl, indexation, JS rendering, Core Web Vitals, faceted navigation, canonical hygiene.

  • Category and product templates

On-page templates with entity coverage, internal linking and structured data.

  • Schema coverage

Product, Offer, Review, BreadcrumbList, Article, FAQPage — implemented, not just recommended.

  • Content mapped to intent

Buying-guide and comparison content mapped to real search behaviour, in English and Arabic.

  • Digital PR

Regional editorial links via genuine outreach — never link farms or PBNs.

  • Reporting

Non-brand organic revenue, indexed page count, Core Web Vitals, and share of category SERPs — reviewed monthly.

Local context

SEO for a Lebanese Shopify store is really three SEO problems in one.

Problem one: the local Lebanese search market — small, mixed-language, and dominated by a handful of brand queries. Ranking here is about defending brand SERPs and capturing high-intent long-tail English + French + Arabic queries. Volume is low; conversion is very high.

Problem two: the diaspora search market — Lebanese buyers in France, the UAE, Canada, the US and West Africa searching for very specific product types (mouneh, Lebanese sweets, cedar, thobes, heritage brands). The intent is warm; the geography is fragmented. Hreflang and shipping messaging matter as much as ranking.

Problem three: the GCC expansion market — Arabic-first, high intent, high AOV, higher competition and higher paid CPCs. Winning organic here structurally lowers paid CAC, which is the actual business case for the whole SEO programme. Read our take on scaling Shopify internationally and Arabic-first Shopify.

Process

How we run an SEO engagement — 90 days in.

Days 1–14. Technical audit, current-state indexation map, catalogue and template review, Arabic-side audit, competitor gap analysis mapped to your P&L.

Days 15–45. Technical fixes ship. Category and product templates rebuilt with proper on-page structure, internal linking and schema. Hreflang and multi-market routing configured. Baseline reporting installed.

Days 46–90. Content and digital PR loop begins. Intent-mapped guides, comparison pages and category expansions ship weekly. First outreach rounds land. Reporting shifts from “traffic” to non-brand organic revenue by market.

Who it's for

This engagement is not for every Shopify store.

It fits Shopify brands doing $30k+ a month with a real catalogue (30+ SKUs), a defensible product story and an ambition to sell across at least two of {Lebanon, diaspora, GCC}. Below that, a fixed-fee audit is a better first step than a retainer.

It does not fit stores planning to replatform in the next 90 days, or brands whose entire acquisition is currently one influencer per launch — the SEO investment will be wasted if the funnel isn't ready to receive the traffic.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is Shopify SEO different from generic SEO?
A Shopify store lives or dies on category architecture, product-page structure, faceted navigation and schema — not on blog volume. Most SEO agencies apply a lead-gen SEO playbook (blog + backlinks) to a Shopify catalogue and get nowhere. We start with the catalogue, the collection templates and the on-page merchandising, then layer content that maps to real buying intent.
Do you handle Arabic SEO for the GCC?
Yes. Arabic keyword research, on-page copy, product-schema translation, hreflang configuration and Arabic content ops are all in scope. Arabic SEO is not machine translation of the English site — Google treats it as a separate index and buyer intent is worded differently.
How long until we see results?
Non-brand organic revenue typically moves in the 3–6 month window for stores with existing authority, and 6–9 months for newer stores. We report against non-brand organic revenue, not against total organic traffic (which is dominated by brand queries and misleads).
Do you build links, and how?
Yes, via digital PR and editorial placements — regional publications, industry outlets and creator features. We do not do private blog networks, paid link farms, or anything that would put a Shopify store at risk of a manual action.
Do you cover technical SEO for Shopify?
A full technical audit is part of every engagement: crawl budget, indexation, JS rendering, faceted navigation exposure, duplicate product URLs, canonical hygiene, Core Web Vitals, and structured data coverage.
How is pricing structured?
Technical SEO audits from $3,000 fixed-fee. Ongoing SEO programmes from $3,500/month depending on content velocity and market coverage. Media and digital PR budgets are additional.
